Born in the Bronx, the Sculptor, Paul Filler, has studied at Pratt Institute, the Art Student League in Manhattan, and the School of Visual Arts. He has spent almost 40 years in a career as an art director/creative director for ad agencies in Michigan and New York. During the last 20 years, he has also been creating sculpture at his studio in West Michigan in his spare time.
|
His work has been displayed and sold in art galleries from New York City to California, as well as art fairs throughout the Midwest. He has taught sculpture at Welcome Home for the Blind in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and also critiques and advises graphic arts students at Kent Skills Center. Now retired from the commercial advertising world, Paul devotes his full time and energies to exploring new creative directions in sculpture. |
